After at least $60 million TAX dollars spent investigating every aspect of Bill Clinton's private, professional, and sexual life, it is now down to a woman testifying before the Republican controlled U.S. Senate - testifying for the TWENTY-THIRD TIME on the intimacies of a physical relationship that is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
      Hasn't Monica Lewinsky been victimized enough? For what purpose are the Republican repugnants nosing in there again? Are they making America a more moral nation? Are they going to force her to expose her most private actions for the entire world to smirk over and call it morality? What they are doing in trying to completely ruin Monica Lewinsky's life. To increase the sick joke possibilities for slimeballs like Jay Leno and every cheap comedian who has been playing for pay to the dark, back-row smelly seats of their show's cheap balcony masturbaters.
      Why is Ms. Lewinsky being stripped of her dignity and human rights by cheap comedians and religious politicians? I
      thought religious persons were supposed to value human life but instead they are pouring hatred on the heads of women, Blacks, and anyone of any stripe who doesn't look like themselves in the waist-down mirrors of their religious homoeroticism.
      Ms. Lewinsky did what she did in a consenting adult situation and by the love of everything decent, it's none of the religious right's business what she did with whom, when, what, how, and why.
      Let the first person who has not engaged in oral sex or DREAMT or fantasized about oral sex throw that first rock. (Kids under age two not allowed.)
      Have you been watching Senator Orin Hatch on the tube almost holding his crotch as he talks about Lewinsky.

Hatch's hardon is just waiting for the chance to repeat his "pubic hair" Anita Hill performance.

Can't you just imagine Hatch's hectoring Mormon elder voice demanding of Ms. Lewinsky: "Did the President touch your pubic hair?"

If he asks if she drinks coke, I'm gonna lose it.

Can you imagine that this is what the founding fathers meant when they said HIGH CRIMES and MISDEMEANORS? Making the touching of a woman's pubic hair WITH HER FULL CONSENT the same as treason? The Republicans are being held hostage by the religious right who honor Oliver North who KILLED innocent children, women, and men - and condemn a man who loves, not wisely but too often. . .

Has anyone but me wondered what happened to the GREAT push to get RU486 approved in the U.S.?

Clinton (one reason for the impeachment) put it on the fast track.

The FEMINIST leaders took it over - got tons of money from women - and then screwed up the process so bad that we still don't have it in this country. All we ever got/get are fund-raising letters from "feminist" organization saying they need money to get RU486 approved.

Sometimes the stupid honesty of Ali McBeal doesn't look all that bad next to the lying incompetency of MOST of the national feminist organizations.

I say NATIONAL because I see state and local organizations of NOW doing great work while its NATIONAL NOW office gushers out money on its own glory.

BTW, there are no "local" chapters to the one-woman shows of several of the other feminist money cows in Washington, DC. No boards. No accountings of fund. Until the state and local NOW organizations do something about the incompetency of the NATIONAL NOW office holders, every feminist in this nation should withhold her dues and support.

One way would be for the state and local NOW organizations to make themselves self-sufficient. Are you aware that some NOW groups collect ALL the dues direct and send a stipend to National NOW, not the other way around?

That there are several different kids of state and local memberships - and some have COMPLETE CONTROL of their money?

Check it out ladies - start getting more money back for effective lobbying in YOUR state instead of paying out everything to keep the doors open on a do-nothing BIG empty office in Washington.

And while you're at it, check on the spending of the STATE dues in those MANY states without active organizations - just figureheads?

It's a scandal that not even silver tongues of the National office would have trouble explaining.

I will be traveling in Florida (with some stops in North Carolina and Georgia) in February to visit family - to see my youngest two grandchildren whom I haven't seen in more than five years and also get reaquainted with a brother I haven't seen in 50 years (yep, 50).

By the way, has anyone read any analysis about the obvious incompetency of Ken Starr in his investigation and the gathering of the grand jury testimony. By inference, yes, but no one has come out and actually said it:

What it is, ladies and gentle men, is that Starr fucked it up, royally.

His legal reputation is forever exposed, revealed as the Emperor's clothing. He didn't ask the right questions that any small town prosecutor knows to ask. Bill Clinton actually tried to teach him a legal point or two. "What is 'alone?' or 'is'." Sounds silly according to the great thinkers of Leno and Hatch and Starr, but...

"Are you alone" may be asked on the telephone and you usually answer "yes" although an army of people may be on the other side of the room but can't hear you. The question is usually answered as if your were asked "are you able to talk without being overheard?"

"Were you alone" may be answered truthfully as "yes"if you are in the stall of a crowded public lavatory, or in the stacks of the New York public library - or "no" depending on what YOUR interpretation of ALONE at the time means. Of course you're not alone in a public lavatory nor in a large building - but in another sense, you are.

And "is" is just as elusive. He "is" in the building but that doesn't mean he IS in the stacks. He "is" in his "office" but that doesn't mean the OVAL office since he has several offices as part of the Oval office complex.

How can he be alone when there are hundreds of people in the same building with him and in the SAME suite of offices? No one in this nation or in all of history except Bill Clinton has ever been REQUIRED to *help* someone else ruin him - unless it was during the religious inquisitions when people were subjected to unspeakable tortures by the twisted minds of fanatics in the name of their god and morality.

Yes, we once had a government run by such religious fanatics. It was called the Dark Ages.

Talking of perjury, has anyone noticed the lack of publicity by our "wonderful national newspapers about the PROVEN, absolutely positively proven beyond the shade of a doubt, the perjury of House Republican Whip Tom DeLay?

And how about the lack of follow up regarding Republican House prosecutor Bob Barr and his paying for abortions, his racism - and overall sleaziness (licking whip cream off the chest of an innocent woman at a charity event).

Or the looking the other way about the bopsy twins, Asa and Tim Hutchinson from Arkansas whose wives won't move to Washington so the boyz have a pad together with sharing...

Both the "boyz" are graduates of the Bob Jones religious college. Rumor has it that a conflab of Baptist leaders are pressuring the Hutchinson wives not to divorce... OR the strange case of George and Barbara Bush seemingly having only TWO sons:

George W. "Shrub" and Jeb. Gone is the youngest son, NEIL BUSH who profited the family to the tune of more than $60 MILLION dollars in the Silverado Savings and Loan debacle. It was the best of times and the worst of times...

Candidate A: associates with ward heelers and consults with astrologists. He's had at least two mistresses. He chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B: was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of brandy every evening.

Candidate C: is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any illicit affairs.

Which of these candidates is your choice??
