Thelizlibrary.org honors women in the military and women's military contributions. For too long, women falsely were told there were
things they could not do. That said, these women's history pages are not presented here to advocate for or against any particular military
policies. Our nation's military is not the appropriate milieu to promote anyone's
ulterior political and social agendas. The strength of our military and our nation's security
are the first and only considerations. We encourage readers interested in this subject to be thoughtful and objective
in accumulating their information and in forming their opinions. In the interests of balance:
by Kingsley Browne. Here's a 2012 article by Browne that summarizes the issues,
which also were discussed November 27, 2011, by attorneys Lisa Macci and Liz Kates
on the Justice Hour Radio Show.
COL Chuck Winn (Ret.) discusses women and gays in the military on the Justice Hour radio show, August 20, 2013.
